    So many travels

13-6 at the first timeout. Not perfect, still some bad turnovers, but better overall and Hawaii seems more human compared to their early shooting last game.

Really feel like Sage is now a lock for DPOY

RED HOT start for the Ags

Stobbart picking up right where she left off

Yeah we're unfortunately in for a tough time next week. Though Idaho State might be pretty bad, Weber still handled them easily.

Thanks, I totally forgot when HR came to campus and I thought for sure this was his final year there for a second.

I think consensus was Eaton didn't play, certainly his name was never mentioned on the Vandal broadcast

Am I reading the UCD website right and understand the rules right that we get three more seasons with Hunter Rodrigues including this weird one? Per the department he's listed as a JR, which I assume means he was eligble for three seasons after a single year at ARC, and then one of his seasons counted as a redshirt year due to low number of appearances.

So that's 2021S -- no hit to eligibility
    2021F -- Jr year
    2022 -- Sr year

I'm glad the Idaho announcers did acknowledge the rust factor for Davis, but they (as well as the Idaho boards and podcast I've been glancing at) really focused on people being out for Idaho without mentioning the whole 25-person restrictions for the Ags. COVID affects everyone this season, in some way or the other. You don't get to say "well let's just remove this specific COVID-related factor and ONLY this factor and then talk about what the score would have looked like"

This was quietly one of UCD's best finishes ever in the Big West I believe. I think it might be 4th after the two regular season titles and the time we were barely the 2-seed.

I believe it's a home-office lamp that deliberately smooths out shadows on your face for video conferencing, feel like I've heard someone talking about them

Didn't get to hear their call, but Marsh posted this, they set up across the room from each other at home

The spelling of Rodrigues' name at the very start of the article made me question reality

Pluto TV and the Big Sky website had the Vandal TV broadcast, no video from Aggie side I believe, though we'll be spoiled for home games with the CW coverage

HR's statline is actually kind of nuts under the circumstances. He was 12/22 in his Aggie career going into this game, virtually all against second and third string defenses. And then this game with the delay and playing from behind he puts up Maier numbers

Problem is I'm not sure where else Hawaii could go. This is by far the most doable conference for them travel-wise; the alternative would be maybe the Mountain West or Big Sky in the name of levelling the playing field in terms of their travel time vs conference average. But some of those trips would be brutal for them.

Ah, should have been obvious to me lol

The something like 3-1 TOP ratio with their QB casually shaking off defenders was cause for concern IMO, I usually don't expect for defense to somehow become better against the run the later the game goes on

Even TOP was about equal in the end, most other offensive stats favoring the Aggies. Which means the Ags were dominant in pretty much every category second half.

I have to eat some of my words, I'm much less nervous now

Kicking definitely looks like it would have been better in hindsight

Offensive reps are important too I at this point I guess, couldn't tell if that was all first-stringers in there either

Are we leaving O on the field or going to try to build confidence for the new kicker?
