So Aggies end up winning 86-63 (or something like that. I bailed near the end). So good performances from freshman Gray and Turner. Trpcic will be our lead point but I’m a little worried about her size. She had quite a few deflected passes just because she’s so small. Gray is 5’10” and played with a great deal of poise. Turner may lead the team in scoring in quite a few games once she earns more time

My biggest area of concern is interior play. Stobbart didn’t really impress (she fouled out) and Gibbs looks a little slow. I’m guessing that at least Lilly and maybe Jones red shirt. We might be a little thin down low.

Also think we are going to get out a run a little more than we have in the past. Should make for some good entertainment.

I’m guessing song is our leading scorer. Turner and Gray are impressive freshman. A lot of energy with the smaller lineup.

Ags have gone small with Konrad at the post and they look a lot better. More energy on defense. Turner and song with 3’s give the Ags a 59-45 lead with 4:11 left in the 3rd

a lot of growing pains. But you can see the talent. Gray looks like she’ll be counted on for a lot minutes this year. Turner has a beautiful rainbow jump shot. I think Lily was the only player not to see the court in the first half.

I think I’ll stop by just to see how the new players look.

Last year was the one surprising/disappointing year. That should have been a 20 win team with some kind of post season appearance. Now, with so many questions with this years team, we could be starring at back to back 11ish win seasons. Hopefully we surprise people this year, but we have a lot of holes to fill so it's going to take several players to really step up.

They introduced the b-ball teams at homecoming today. Pretty sure Cierra Hall was in a boot with crutches. Hopefully a short term issue as we’ll need her this year.

Vitos has good NY pizza, beer and several TVs.

Not sure I can argue against an 8th place prediction. We have questions at every position, outside of Mooney at the two. There is a lot of new talent, so as an optimistic fan, I'm hoping Les and the staff can get these guys to play together. We will definitely need our defense to be stout if we are to stay in games.

My son was at this game. Just an incredible meltdown by WSU. Apparently they have a saying in Pullman, "we just pulled a Coug", which basically means if you're a WSU fan you're used to incredible meltdowns.

Looks like the band might be playing in the stands starting at this weeks game. It’s not a certainty yet but it’s sounding more likely.

By the way, looks like we have grass now on the new practice field!
