that was a puzzling play call. Their QB wasn’t accurate with long balls, so seemed way risky. Same head puzzling with the 2 passes prior to us stuffing them on 4th and 1 at the 20.

What puzzled me on offense is that HR never seemed to have a easy play with to a open receiver. Several, what looked like, longer one-man patterns with tight coverage. After the injury (his head hit hard), we called several shorter passes (pass and run to Gilliam on 3rd and long was a beaut) and e got in a rhythm. Weber guy had short passes in the holes of the zone all night. Maybe it’s our heavy use of two tight-ends?

the fall 2020 schedule is the one we are playing this season, except for out of conference. The spring thing made it 2 in a row. We were home in 2019

this is the new rule as of September 20 for mega events outdoor (10000). I suspect that’s why we had 9999 on. Saturday. Not sure how the other teams will react; Giants lifted their restrictions May 18. But reading more closely, sounds like it recommended for outdoor mega events, required by indoor.

We stopped in campus bookstore on Sunday and were underwhelmed. Downtown is often better, but I think online is best option. We were looking for kids shirts for grandkids since they had nothin for them at the game (except $50 jersey or cheerleading outfif!).

I was part of that; they had us come down to court side from the upper level and that was a little scary. No handrails and some of the steps are kind of high. I was watching the replay on ESPN+. Broadcast was good. Two Scott’s work well together. Forgot how many short fields we had after long returns or INT; many that we couldn’t get into the end zone. Pass offense was just off all night.

I didn’t make it to the end. Hit the return button instead of rewind twice, and when you start up, it starts from scratch. FF on ESPN+ seems clunky - kind of guessing how far to go.

Darius was good; it just seemed like he ran out of material before the end of the first half. We need more gimmicks (quizzes, simba cam, dance cam) to keep the students engaged.

Someone mentioned Gomez’ lack of leg - I think the one miss was effected by wind. Whelen’s kickoff in that direction were short, but was out of the end zone on the other end. I think that’s why we didn’t try a 47 yard FG on fourth and 20, but….no pooch punt?

How was the quality of the TV broadcast? Any improvement in video quality, game angles, etc?

NAU came in 0-2 outscored 76-23 and knock off Arizona! Wildcat fans must be pissed! 0-2 FCS team knocks off a Pac12 team…..sounds familiar

I think we prepped for the other QB, so were zone dominant with a REALLY deep safety (25 yards). The new QB didn’t run much, didn’t go down field BUT was accurate 10-15 yards (especially, it seemed like on 3rd and long!). We didn’t seem to adapt much from that especially with the big lead. Bend and let them break? Just concerned at the last of pressure without a blitz and the openness of their WRs (who were talented).

For others who were in attendance, did the band sound off to you? Like everything was a bit slow. I noticed Aggie Fight in the pregame tent had a cadence that was slower than I recall. Pregame and halftime also seemed slow. Or was it just my ears?

Also, I’m pretty sure there was no Bossy Cow Cow. Maybe the Vegan Student Union protested it was too triggering!

Game took 3:34! Not many fans left them besides friends and family. There WAS a bus picking up a group from the University Retirement Community as we drove out!
