  • Horseshoe 2017
A missed opportunity for us on the unsportsmanlike penalty.
  • Horseshoe 2017
Couldn't argue with the call to go for it on 4th though I wish we had scored.

Will there be a stream of tomorrow's game?
  • LaRue Softball upgrades begin!
I thought I saw a baseball game at SS and I still think I did at some point, but in looking back through old photos, it was actually a softball game from Spring of 2011 after I had graduated but still lived in town. Still their facilities were not impressive. Also, I really hate Sac's high bleachers at Hornet Stadium. Always afraid of dropping stuff on those rickety seats on the Aggie side.

  • Greetings Aggie Fans
CP always plays us tough. Some years the Ags have been caught looking ahead to Suck State. Fortunately the rivalry games are not back to back this year. CP is a team I love for the Ags to beat. If we lose, I'll tip my cap. But if we lose to Sac then its just ugly. This game will be closer than everyone thinks. Maybe decided by a single TD.
  • Week 8: UC Davis @ Northern Arizona
Don't forget that Flagstaff is prone to lightning and strong t-storms coming off the mountains. A dome is nice in that regard. Snow probably too.
  • Will the Fans Ever Really Come Back?
They'll be in Pajamas on Friday, October 27th (Pajamarino).
  • Will the Fans Ever Really Come Back?
I was there when Judson and Adam D were the yell leaders. They were great and they knew their stuff. I could tell from the grass endzones that the leaders were disorganized and didn't really have a plan.
  • Field Hockey 1-9
So if Field Hockey now has its own field, what were the other sport markers at Aggie Stadium on Sat from? I've been out of the loop. I went to a game in their inaugural season at Aggie stadium and I have heard of their new place nearby. But, who else plays at Aggie Stadium?
  • Week 6: Eastern Washington @ UC Davis
But can we ever be competitive on the road with all the non CA/PSU teams all located at 2,000ft+?
  • Week 6: Eastern Washington @ UC Davis
Was anyone from AST holding a giant Aggie flag or wearing a blue cape? If so, I think I spoke with you during the post-game band-uh show at the bell. You looked similar to some of the crew I met at a causeway game in Sac a few yrs ago.
  • Will the Fans Ever Really Come Back?
Cal Poly should see an increase though....I mean even though CP is terrible, that should bring out fans. Do you think anyone from Poly will road trip or will most stay home because their team is terrible this yr?
  • Will the Fans Ever Really Come Back?
I was disappointed in the noise levels. Too quiet and people cheering at the wrong times (not EWU fans, but cheering when we were on offense).

Speaking of which, EWU had a fair number of fans at this game and kudos to them.
  • 2017-18 Causeway Cup
With one exception: SAC STATE...SUCKS!!!!! That won't ever change.
  • Week 6: Eastern Washington @ UC Davis
I'm at the airport about to fly out and I gave a loud go Ags to an alumina. I'm excited but super nervous to see how the D does against the EWU attack.

Transfer at MacArthur station to catch the train going towards Pittsburg / Bay Point. Take the 6 from Orinda or Lafayette: https://countyconnection.com/routes/6/
At night when school is in session (not summer), you can also take the 250 from Bart as well. https://countyconnection.com/routes/250/
If I had known about the Gael shuttle 250, I probably would have gone to more Gael basketball games as I lived in the Oakland Hills and could have taken the bus late. Like you, I take mostly transit for games. If you are looking at the Dec 9th Wms BB game at SMC, it is a 1pm game, so you should be able to do a day trip via BART and Capital Corridor no sweat.

EDIT: Also, walking, sure, but SMC is much more compact than Cal or Davis. There are some small hills, but nothing too difficult so not much walking at all to McKeon Pavilion from the main entrance. I've done it before its about 5-10 mins at most. My HS had academic and athletic events there and it also hosts west coast college fairs at the college so I'm pretty familiar with it.
  • Descalso
Can we get you tickets to all games his team plays against the SF Giants next season?
  • Week 6: Eastern Washington @ UC Davis
The game against Sac State in 2008 was sold out, so my college pastor (a former yell leader for the Ags) & I watched the first half by standing on top of the trash cans on the south side of the stadium behind the outside fence. AT halftime a couple left and gave us their tickets so we could enter. So student tickets do get restricted.

Also, I was at the Poly game it was a lot of fun. I was amazed how many CP students traveled 4-5 hrs for the game and had so many songs and chants. "POLY POLY POLY", the soccer style one in particular.

I saw Davis play at Evans Diamond (Cal Baseball) before I went to an A's game later that night. I like Evans. hmmm I haven't seen the new SMC baseball field, but my brother played a hs game at the old one (our private hs school was in Orinda).

One year I went to a womens soccer game at SMC. It wasn't anything special and the field wasn't that impressive, but it was the very first Aggie event that sports calendar yr ('10?)?
You can get to the St Marys campus by taking BART to Lafayette station and taking a bus. Moraga is a small quiet suburb and in a little canyon. Walnut Creek or Pleasant Hill (15 mins) are better bets. Most of Moraga is high income residential and with a large retired population.
I've seen many of the venues in question, but not for games against the Ags.
  • Week 6: Eastern Washington @ UC Davis
That works out fine, since I bought mine last night. I plan to watch from the grass with a Davis towel. I hope everyone who can will make it out to the stadium and yell and stomp for our ags.
