A bit of an overstatement by Coach Les, but I understand his enthusiasm. We are a large university that has received acclaim for many reasons, for our agriculture, our viticulture, our vet school, golf team, an Ironman, a QB. Yes, this dance refreshed our image to some, and was new to others.

Another Davis oddity. When you click on the hoops picture, it takes you to a sports page with swimming as the header. Then it covers our team, but old news, with a blocked area below that has the update on our first NCAA playoff victory.

The title should reflect the banner season, and the page should be updated with the most current hoops information first. Is it that hard?

I know nothing about them, but they probably have 1 or 2 players with legitimate NBA careers in front of them. Size, speed, quickness will be issues.

If we were stingy with the ball I'd be more optimistic.
