That's why I was pushing for Aaron Moore to get more PT a few weeks back ... he made 1 or 2 spectacular catches, Hawk says he does that all the time in practice, then he dissapears... and Montgomery is a great addition.

Doss brings out the NFL scouts, and now they will also see Maier, Preece, and many others. There should be a ton of motivation there, and another enticement for recruits.

6 wins we're in great shape. 7 wins we are in outstanding shape.

We also seem set at QB and WR. Some O linemen and a stud RB would be a good start.

Key #3 - large, quality JC recruits who help right away. Martin C, Flowers, LB Moe, RB Modise, QB Maier, DT Cloud. That's 6 huge contributors. Best JC class ever? Coach Tucker helped with that! Did Mrak also help?

Are playoff slots picked by formula, committee? It could be enticing to add a California school with a top 5 QB and WR. Plus ability to draw 10,000?

We have to concentrate on one game. SUU.

We have proven that we can beat lesser teams, and we balled w EWU for 4 quarters, coming up short by 3. We competed with NAU, but only played well 1/2.

Can we beat a legit team? FCS rankings last week.

Our WR make our DBs better, and visa versa.

O'Brien had Allen Fleming, an excellent DII WR, but not dominant. Smart, athletic, fast.

A dominant DII WR was Stacy Robinson, who we faced vs North Dakota one year. Big time speed, drafted in the 2nd round, won 2 Super Bowl rings.

And we have Montgomery, Harrell, Crawford, Gilbert and others in the mix. B. Lee reportedly has great speed, but we're so deep he may not have seen PT.

I am now REALLY LOOKING FORWARD to Stanford next year!

Unfortunately, only 366 yards rushing before tonight, 71 on one run and 3 TDs rushing.

Probably several reasons for lack of production on the ground. In only half a game announcers said our fly sweep was predictable, and our offense lacked diversity? Ouch.

Good to see Brock Dale get some PT. Red zone better. Some of this probably due to their weak defense? Tough to read too much into it.
