Zythe, attempting such a move involves 2 big issues.

1. Big stadium expansion and Athletic Training Facility. There are seating minimums required, attendance etc. ... $50 Million? $70 Million? BD was asked about this a few years back. He doesn't have to raise it.

2. TV. There are big dollars at play depending on affiliation. There have also been rumblings about college football / college sports dividing up again, maybe 3 tiers in DI football, conferences shuffling, etc. Complicated. There may be a time where we are forced to make a decision.

Injuries on the O line could be an issue, mums the word.

After 21 yards rushing, I hope they look at all options. Could CJ get a few legit reps at tailback (not redzone)? Some new plays / gadget plays to keep the defense honest? Carries for FB Hicks? Try Erron Duncan? ... We lost two great RBs, but we need an answer or life will become tougher.

GREAT NEWS is that I believe Aaron Moore proved himself as a legit playmaker with both catching abilities and speed / moves. Maier said postgame he made an effort to find him. Great compliment to Doss.

We have at least one back with speed who gets tripped up by arm tackles. I recall Thomas running over tacklers, stumbling, and still gaining over 10 yards. FYI, he played (running) QB in high school.

We seem loaded at LB and I thought we were deep at DB. Inconsistent play calling, lack of focus (letup last night, penalties at NAU) seem to be issues. We competed with EWU and NAU!!

I'm sure Josh Kelly would make our O line look better.

Does our offensive brain trust need a little therapy? I love our coaches, but... Thomas averaged 16 yards a carry last week, and he saw no PT today? His average on the year is 6.8 yards per carry... highest on the team ... only 20 carries, but worth thinking about.
