Coach Long may start 5 Freshmen, RFreshmen, and / or players who've never started for the Aztecs. One a DB, one the 6'5" wideout.

Aren't they ranked #25 in the nation?

A simple google search revealed it. It's been posted by the San Diego Union, Washington Post, TechCrunch, Denver Post, etc. One site says these games are Facebook exclusive.

Aztecs have a 6'5" R Frosh WR who studded out at their intrasquad game, Isiah Macklin.

Facebook has announced it will livestream 15 college football games this year, and includes our UC Davis Aggies vs San Diego State.

My guess is that this will be a lot more exposure than going to bigsky.com.

I wonder if you have to be a registered user to view, and can sportsbars televise it?

+3 Dr. Blue has done great with these larger moves, I'm hoping maybe some of these softer inexpensive moves he'll spring on us.... a few trees (please not the size of a bush), picnic tables, benches, misters for the first few games... easy victories.

So glad we can bring food in!!

I hope they add a few of the smaller additions... benches on the way in or near concessions so older people have a place to rest or tie their shoes.

Possibly (originally) a budget issue? Do we know if the alumni raised all the money required, or did ICA t take out a loan to finish Aggie Stadium?

This press release lost me. Far too long. I'm not even sure what this means, beyond putting a ribbon on existing games.

Apparently the very successful Aztec team lost a lot of players, 7 in NFL camps right now. Lost almost their whole offensive line? Coach Long referred to "inexperienced depth".

Will this game be televised?

I know we had maybe the whole team here this summer. Does anyone know if the players held organized 7 on 7 or 11 on 11s?

San Diego News Daily one hour ago posted an update. Claimed no new cases, but 10 players sitting out who had gloves and surgical masks on, away from the field. They have 110 players, 90 at practice. That gets to that 15 number. People can get a booster shot.

Too risky. I'd say vaccinate the whole team unless they have ironclad proof of current shots. With a med school, we blow this and we look baaaaad. Blue should be all over this.

And what is our risk of contamination during the game?

Which is why the wipe down and precaution... imagine if their QB or other key people had to sit out gameday.

I believe they said they'll have to see how well the drugs work. It sounds like these guys will be back, and the coach said it would have been much worse if the infections came a seek before the game.

UPDATE: SDSU cancels Monday night practice as 2 more players are confirmed infected with the virus. The two new players infected have not been identified.

The program is also disinfecting the weight room, etc., to try to slow the spread.

I thought I read their O line is green, and their most experienced lineman is out right now with CP.

I've also seen where they have several receivers with hamstring injuries.

They also apparently have had a number of foot injuries they attribute to new, thinner shoes with less support, and the turfs that allow quicker cuts.

He could have been a big fish here, and in the FCS.
