Bold prediction! I think the Ags would be looking at a VERY good season of we dominate Mercer tonight.

It'll be interesting to see how Pinnick does on Saturday against a tough defense for his first college start, but it's encouraging that Plough mentioned he went like 14/16 in the last scrimmage and has wheels on top of it. We haven't had a truly mobile QB in what feels like forever. Rodrigues had some mobility I suppose, but really didn't have a ton of playtime.

This is what is becoming clearly evident. Dr. Wood tried speaking it into existence without a real plan, but by the time he realized it wasn't working he was already in the deep end with media and the fans so now he's just throwing everything at the wall hoping that something will stick.

I would be embarrassed to be a fan of the program at this point when the starting point was FBS and a new on campus stadium this season to now being well... we're still FCS, maybe a retrofitted stadium a couple miles off campus, and the rest of the FCS is laughing. Sac very well may still pull things together as an organization and I personally believe Marion is a good coach and they will have a good season, but right now the amount of pivoting would make anyone dizzy.

    I'd take a multi-score game!

I don't believe I ever said you weren't allowed in any capacity. It's just strange. If I didn't like a specific store and it's patrons, for example, I would just chose not to hang out there and do something I enjoyed instead of staying and telling everyone how much you hate it there. You can do what you want with your time.
  • @ Mercer to Open 2025
I guess it is funny. I suppose I find folks who hang out places they openly have a distaste for just as strange as the football cult. I guess we're all weirdos.

Heard on the latest @Aggie Pride Podcast that they got the inside scoop on the starting QB against Mercer, but were told to keep it under wraps. Look at you guys being true insiders! :eyes:

I mostly just want some updates on how things are looking. Who is standing out pretty much. I think it might be interesting to interview some of the transfers and pick their brains on what led them to Davis.

Anyone make it out to any practices?

Maybe if Coach Choate wanted claim of Lake Tahoe, then he should have claimed it. It's not like it's a newly discovered lake. I'm not even really a fan of them, but I hope we wear them whenever we play Nevada just because this apparently bothers him. Imagine getting upset at an opponents uniform.

He should probably also focus on trying to win more than 3 games this season and not what a FCS team is wearing.

Perez has the seniority, but I wouldn't be surprised if we mostly see a combo of Fisher and Vargas. In fact, I think Vargas has the dark horse potential to take the starting role.

I think WR room has the biggest potential (outside of QB) to have a breakout player. So much of the production graduated that someone is going to have to step up. Gbatu and Dobbins can't do it all.

Pinnick is much more mobile than Hastings... Significantly so. It will definitely add a new wrinkle to the offense.

yeah I was worried when he wasn't on the roster earlier. Can't teach that kind of size and he picked the Ags over numerous other offers.
