It's pretty dang impressive that we've put together a class of at least 30 athletes (transfers, true freshman, walk-ons, ect.) with a brand new coaching staff. Coach Creighton has done an outstanding job, kuddos to him!

LB Nate Shepherd has committed to UC Davis!!! GO AGS!!!

DT Caleb Davis has committed to Eastern Washington.

That is what I'm currently counting. Don't know how many of these are preferred walk on or partial scholarship guys.

Also Bennett Williams has committed to the University of Illinois. Again, I'm not surprised about this. There have been news articles with him being quoted as wanting to play in a power 5 conference. He had offers from good teams in lesser conferences and lower divisions. Illinois was the only power 5 conference offer he got though. Would rather play for a bad team in a good conference than a good team in a lesser one I guess.

According to the Merced High School Twitter account, ATH Ulonzo Gilliam Jr. will be signing with UC Davis! GO AGS!

Yeah I think I got that one on the last page. Things are moving fast here at the end of the recruiting cycle! From what I could find we were his only D1 offer, he had a couple of D2 offers as well.

Yeah he had a pretty amazing year statistically. Runs kinda like a wrecking ball. He has pretty decent weight for only being 5'8 to 5'9. His highlights make it look like he might not be the fastest runner, but is harder than heck to tackle.

RB Tyler Nevens has committed to San Jose State. Not a surprise, it's the only one of his offers that he has really talked about for awhile now.

We've put an offer out on RB Will Semone. Broke his district's single season rushing record with 2,851 yards and 35 touchdowns. Modesto Bee Player of the Year. Sac-Joaquin Section Offensive Player of the Year. All of that and we are only his 2nd offer, I can't however find who is his 2nd offer.

Scout gave him 2 stars.

Haha, I was in the process of typing it up! He announced less than an hour ago. GO AGS! Good get for us, truly a disruptive force at the line. Like I said, the last minute offers are paying off with Morgan and Modise.

WOW! Late offers can pay off! DE De'Andre Morgan has committed to UC Davis! He had 12 offers (FBS, Big Sky, Ivys) GO AGS!!! 15.5 sacks last season.

Hilton has been our long snapper at least according to the depth chart. He came in the same year as Garza. I can't find the individual game notes from last season, but at least at the beginning of the season (Oregon game) Griggs and Harrison were the only guys to make the 2 deep both as backups.

The most notable name to me was Griggs and according to the season stats from last year, he only recorded 14 tackles. While I like all of our guys and are proud that they are Aggies, I'm just saying I'm glad we didn't lose a guy like Doss, Kelley, Parenteau, ect...

How what? How I compared them? If you go to the athletics website and go to the football subcategory, clicking the roster link shows the current 2017 roster. If you go to the history link you can view the 2016 roster. Then I compared them to see who left and who stayed. Like I said, might not be entirely accurate yet.

Not counting graduating seniors, these are the players that I cannot find on the current listed roster who were on the roster last season. The roster might not be accurate so it might not actually represent who has left and stayed with the change in coaching.
