To be honest, I don't think he sticks around Davis after this year. No inside info, but I can see him transferring to a bigger program in a couple weeks. I think the QB helm goes to Eason next year.

I highly doubt either one of those eventualities occur. Pinnick is an unusually mature guy ( not big on social media as I understand for one) and I think he knows he has more development to do before jumping ship and I suspect he has a bit more buy in with loyalty. Sure there will be folks in his ear, but moving on in a couple weeks - highly unlikely.

SDSU field was covered in snow. The high was 21 degrees. Didn’t look like the attendance was more than about 2500 at Youngstown.

I watched most of that game. Tennessee Tech was completely outmatched. Tennessee Tech had 24 yards of rushing and Visperas did not look good. LOS dominated in second half by Nortj Dakota. Maybe that will mute those who were so high on Tennessee Tech.

Evidently he’s not a coach, he’s a “director of football”. Maybe a fancy title in lieu of SEC type pay. Otherwise it sounds more like a GM.

Looks like game time has been changed to 7:00 pm? My eticket changed to that and it was mentioned on TV. Perhaps due to a move to ESPN2?

Rotating running backs isn’t the same negative impact as rotating QBs, and its a position where players get hit every carry, run routes and block, so more likely to need a breather.

Agreed. If you look at Montana State (although acknowledging they are more run heavy) last year they had Scottre Humphrey, Julius Davis, and Adam Jones. Davis was out much of the year with injuries, and when Humphrey hit the portal to New Mexico, this year they still had Davis and Jones. Relying on one solid running back is fraught with potential problems in my mind as that is an injury prone or over-workload prone position.
