Agreed. Just take the points at this stage. Offense a bit out of sync

    Gbatu was wide open.

    Ruchina having a game.

they must feel they are going to need touchdowns not field goals, but yah normally kick a field goal.

    Bullet train Fisher.

Mercer QB looked really bad. Very inaccurate passing. The whole team just looked like they were flat and didn’t seem energized. Mercer is going to have to win the Southern league to make the playoffs and unless they get better QB play they are in trouble.

About an hour to go till kickoff so you are trying to access too early.

Mercer looking really flat. Poor QB play on Mercer’s side and Blue Hose looking more poised. Just a really flat game - maybe last week affected them. PC was much improved last year -had been really bad.

Maybe wood should edit his tweet to sign off as JV mindset.

LOL. Totally agree about the headset-hat combo.

Montana State getting steamrolled by Oregon - no big surprise but Montana State is looking a bit ragged even considering the competition. I think Lamson could have just stayed at Stanford. Even though he is not really a passer - the Stanford QB who played against Hawaii is a statue who throws a Joe Kapp looking ball (woof). A long ways from the glory days of excellent Stanford QBs.

Ran into a South Dakota State fan (wearing jackrabbits tshirt) here in Walmart this morning here in North Carolina. I asked if she was a fan and she said “yes” but I wasn’t quick enough on the draw when passing her to wish her well in beating our
    biggest rival.

in person his arm looks strong. The pass with someone breathing down his neck that was intercepted near the goal line in Montgomery was flung 50-55 yards. Also some long cross-field throws were delivered with some zip.
  • Looking forward to 2025
Moscow should be easy to get tickets for on the general market. Bozeman would be very expensive on the third party market. Montana State usually has a sellout and you are purchasing someone’s ticket with a big market. I had a bad experience with vivid seats (for Montana State in 2022) as they don’t release tickets until the last minute and you may have plunked down a lot of money in hotel and air travel before having tickets in hand. If possible going through USD would be better but I think you would need some sort of status to have those available to you.

what happens if the random number is 43? Sorry, I had to go there.

didn’t notice while watching, but Plough said almost all our WRs were out in the third quarter due to the humidity (IVs).
We noticed the injury “tent” out on the second half and after Plough mentioned the IVs it dawned on me that the tent would have been IV central. No visible injuries to use the tent so that’s what was going on, along with mister fan pointing into it.

The South Dakota State fans will have their “JV” signs out and perhaps matching cheers.

I think Fisher needs to get more carries. As much as I like Perez, I think it’s gotta be primarily Fisher and Vargas getting most of the carries. One thing I noticed was the lack of swing passes out of the backfield although we don’t have a Lan Larison who did such a great job of that

Jordan Fisher must of had at least a dozen relatives at the Mercer game. They all had shirts with their relationship to Jordan. I thought that was pretty neat.

I think there is a rule in which you can’t hit the field goal snapper while rushing the kick - at least initially. The guy that blocked the kick for Mercer looked like he contacted the snapper and bit him on his butt. Maybe the refs thought he mostly sneaked through a gap. Of course it is a moot point but at the time it was big - would have put the Ags up 2 scores

Agreed. The long pass was pretty much either chuck it or get sacked as there was a defender in his face and it was equivalent to a very good punt assuming if sacked it would have been third and long. That throw showed me that he has a pretty big arm.

The missed and blocked field goals were big. Missed one looked good from the stands but I guess wide left? It dawned on me that if it hadn’t been an ESPN game with the frequent and long commercial breaks the game would have finished prior to the lightning.
