Their QB continued to pull a third and 25 out of the hat and make it. That changed once we started blitzing them and forcing him to make a play. We better have an improved pass rush against Weber. And they can burn you in the air or ground. Their offense is pretty balanced.

On the short term with the delta variant, yes vaccinated people can spread the virus. But it appears this is a short term issue. The delta variant reproduces so fast it takes a few days for your primed immune system to catch up. Once it does, shedding should be mitigated. Boosters bring your immediate titers up to deal with this rapidly reproducing variant, and while i havent seen the data yet, my hunch is boosters will decrease shedding live virus.

For those who attended the game, what are your thoughts on the new PA announcer? I thought he was terrible. Monotone, no excitement, seemed like he was taking a beta blocker. Surely we can do better. Livingston, who was running the show on the sidelines, would bring some energy into the mic.

Teddye Buchanan got ejected for targeting and, unfortunately, he will have to sit out the first half of the Weber game.

From the replays at the stadium, it didn’t even look like a penalty. I thought it was a total BS call. What were the announcers saying about it with their replay analysis?

Do these predictions take into account home vs visitor status?

I really thought we were going to see some action from some of the other QBs. They were warming up Dixon, who is a 6’4” freshman. No clue why HR stayed in.

Against Tulsa and SD we got our yards through the air. Dixie it was our ground attack. Seems like we take what we can get. Weber is balanced offensively, but we know they always have a tough D.

Not sure, but on their boards there is chatter that they started the wrong qb against JM. Several posters don’t think they are a top 25 team. They will be hungry when we get there. Right now the weather looks to be nice, ~80.

Dixie was a different team with the new QB. We had a tough time getting to him without blitzes. Hard to complain about 60 points, but we looked flat on both sides. HR had pressure, but several of his tosses were off the mark. I do think Dixie had some good DBs.

That’s a game i want to watch on replay. Bulldogs might have a team this year.
