They keep finding ways to win...even when they only score 42 points like they did against Poly and still won....

The conference teams have have figured out how to defend us since we rely so much on our 3 point shooting. They're really sticking to Mooney and Gonzalez like glue...fighting through screens and playing them very tight. Joe needs a little more space to get his shot off since he tends to lean forward a bit with a long, left hand push on the shot on the 3 but he does have a fall away short jumper in his arsenal. Gonzalez has a very quick release and tends to go straight or or even falling away a bit.

We're the best 3 point shooting team in the conference but the problem for us is that we don't have an interior game that teams really have to respect and the better conference teams are more balanced in their offensive attack. For example, in the first game against Irvine they pummeled us in the paint 40-12. We did a much better job defending them inside in the second game but, since they weren't scoring at will inside, they took what we were giving them on the outside and were knocking down 3's. We pretty much live and die by the 3.

Joe's been in a big of a shooting slump lately. He's gone through those before so I hope he comes out of it pretty soon.

I believe he played 2 years at Grossmont JC and 1 year at Jacksonville University which will make him a senior.

It looked like most of the team was there tonight and they got a standing O from the crowd when they were introduced during a time out.

Official attendance was 2263 tonight which is the most for a home game this year I'm sure.

Printup was solid...hit a 3 and plays tough defense. He hasn't seen a lot of playing time this season so his offensive game looks a bit rusty.

I wish him the very best and hope he continues to do well in school...always an Aggie...

Yeah, Manjon's dunk surprised everyone. He has an incredible vertical leap for a player his size. Mooney was great all game long. He really brought the energy tonight even though Les didn't start him...rebounding and critical 3's down the stretch. Nice to see Adebayo contribute on the offensive end too. He has something like a 7 foot wingspan. I thought this was one of Koehler's better games too. Nice win by the whole team.

That’s true. Attendance is down especially among the students.

Pretty good crowd for this year. Itybeen a very physical game and the officiating has been inconsistent.

Gonzalez is in street clothes. He went down with an ankle injury late in the Irvine game. I hope Joe can get his shot going.
