NDSU-UND was a slobber knocker. Not pretty to watch but NDSU defense made the plays when needed. UND qb made massive mistake when he threw a pass up for grabs at about the NDSU 20 in 3rd quarter. Both teams had only 1 TD.
I checked for tickets now per ESPN and prices for that EWU-UM game have dropped quite a bit from two days ago when I checked and the cheapest tickets were in the $80 range. Tickets now about $44 which is still high, but not bad for a top rated FCS rivalry game. Had I known sooner I would have gone. Oh well, I can watch/listen to the Ags game instead. With the way Cal is playing against fellow Palouse team WSU, the Ags game with Idaho cannot start soon enough.
That NAU score is a bit stunning. I thought ISU looked solid last spring. Looks like USD kind of lucked out vs the transitioning St Thomas. Scored on a fumble recovery to tie after being behind 24-17.
When going to a break, the Cal Poly announcers, unaware they were on the air, said “another blowout” after Cal Polys first series subsequent to an opening scoring drive by Weber. At least they are honest.
Another "not Big Sky or other FCS," but Cal took another step towards taking a look at alum Troy Taylor. They lost to Washington State 21-6 in a game that was not that close. Happy Homecoming.
EWU scores on first drive and holds Montana on their first drive. The good thing about this game is that one of the coaches will be on the losing side.
