Compared to their 70%. They get to the hoop really well and have been the aggressors on both ends. Really have our offense stagnated . Down 20-11 with this 16-2 run

probably 10000 of that record crowd didn’t pay a dime to get in. Great to get a big student crowd but we need paying customers. Sac game was the largest gate ever

Other auction items will go live using the link below soon, running through the event. Sign up below and bid using link here:

4.5 point underdogs with BetMGM giving Triton’s a 60% chance of covering the spread. Loss at home was tough. Up 6 at half in a defensive struggle; lose giving up 55 in the second half. That second half they looked as good as anyone offensively with their motion and passing leading to great shots.

I remember a couple years back (2024) when they walloped us at home (92-59) with starters in late raining down 3’s and having a good old time doing so. We went back there and beat them in a tough rematch, a game in the 70’s. Hopefully history repeats. I really disliked Bryce Pope and his short-shorts after that first game!

as a basketball season ticket holder, these changes will have a big positive impact on the gameday experience. the current "Rec Hall' still has that big barn feeling , even after recent small improvements in the student seating and lighting to make it feel more intimate. the concession area is woefully inadequate. the open space of the upper level is a bad look. our gym is in the upper half of the big west, but that's only because there are so many bad gyms in the big west. If they can close things up, while still having upper deck seating for the rare high-attendence games, like the arena in Henderson, that would the perfect solution. That's probably a bridge too far.

who would have said two or three years ago that it would make financial sense to spend $10-$15M to pay football in the MAC?

I’d love to make the move to MWC but the reality is we are years behind NDSU (and the Montsn’s) to be in that position. Someone brought up their revenue of around $30M - what’s ours? We average probably 8000 paying customers to there, what, 15000. And they bring in a ton with their suites.

Another issue, I believe, is the number of sports we’re hoisting. We have 24 vs 14 at NDSU. They gives them much more ability to focus cash on football.

I also read their ATHLETIC endowment is over $110M - that’s the only endowment that matters. Dont know ours, but if it eclipsed $100M we’d have heard about it. Our Ascent program allegedly has something like $250M committed…but that’s just for facilities.

it was comical. Turner was irate, flailing his arms yelling ‘what did I do? What the f—- did I do!’ over and over. Pasternik, all 140 LBs of him, wanders up to half court to poke his nose into it. It then looked like an Irvine coach said something to him at which point he went nuts. He COULD have charged the Irvine coach but kind of let his assistants surround him and keep him from an altercation. It did earn him a T

this new lineup is 3-0 so, like the Tahoe blue, we’ll see that group until we lose. I’d like to see Cooper in place of Daugherty as a starter keeping Stokes in the lineup.

I just turned it on with SB up 18 - Turner got two T’s, snd Pasternik got one while Turner was yelling at the refs. Pasternik had to be restrained by his many assistants - comical.

in this day and age, you worry that a guy starts looking for greener pastures if his playing time and role diminishes.

In the words of Tina Turner ‘we don’t do anything nice and easy’

Wilson and Sevilla were big on offense down the stretch but our defense and tenacity on the boards win this one.

Stokes brings a lot of that tenacity - often stretching the rules a wee bit!

We really need to get Cooper back in a groove. He looks really gunshy with the ball. A rebirth there will be big in these last few games
