• MBB 7 pm Wednesday: Northern Colorado (5-2) @ the Aggies (3-2)
Down 22-21 at half. Ouch. Looks like an ugly half

i wonder how big a favorite NAU was?

cheerleading? only half joking. the local high school won't have cheerleaders at the basketball games because it has been declared a 'sport', and they are practicing for their events.
  • MBB 5 pm Sunday: Aggies (3-1) @ Washington (3-2)
3 point shooting wasn’t too good tonight (23%) and that hurt. Let them pack their zone. Mooney has a nice shot; didn’t drop tonight but he should be good behind the arc. Guards were solid, taking care of the ball. Good to see Goode get some points. Reminds me of JT post injuries. Foot work is a little too fast now -> hopefully some tough buckets tonight against legit big men will build some confidence for him.

Still in it in the last minute. That last bucket hurt. Good d and hit a tough shot with clock running down. Still fighting

Thanks for the preview. Looking forward to watching

I wonder if they are rethinking their reversed decision. USD was a pretty good team. They moved the ball well against us. We had some big plays that made it seem more one sided than it was. Remember the 80 yard TD run on a 4th and 1?
  • FCS playoffs
    41-10. Crazy
  • FCS playoffs
Yardage after three quarters is something like 340-130. USD has 170 rushing yards. Starting to better understand our run heavy game plan vs NAU. Jacks have three turnovers also
  • FCS playoffs
34-10. I guess our win over them wasn’t so bad.
  • MBB: AGGIES vs. sac state @ Golden 1 Arena
Kind of reminds me of us vs cal last year when it took a late run to get to 18 in the first half. SDSU is good and it’s really easy for things to snowball. That was the game where, when it looked like men v boys, that my wife said ‘ we’ll never win, we have too many man buns’

got it. Had to clear my cookies so I could read the article. Probably should subscribe
  • Late Season Report Card
I know we’re at USD in 2019. I think the second home game is 2020 but not certain. When they announced cal and Stanford they made a point about only FBS a year. Makes me wonder if San Jose is a late add.
  • Late Season Report Card
That’s essentially three FBS games and Stanford is a meat grinder. I thought the years of two FBS were done

I was more concerned about him killing me. No jury would convict!
  • MBB: AGGIES vs. sac state @ Golden 1 Arena
Withstood the run and put it away. Chima struggled with shooting but he’s a rebounding machine. Nice win

I have a lawn sign from the season ticket event that says 'PROUD SUPPORTER OF AGGIE FOOTBALL'. Gold sign you can't miss. I had told my wife BEFORE the game I would put it on my son's lawn if we won. When we got the ball back I said to her 'I can't put that sign up.....too painful'.

sounds like there are some good players redshirting. conversation at the reunion was that the scout team defense had been tearing it up for several weeks, indicating that we'll be better next year. maybe some new plug-in additions will help make us much better. i thought our DB's were better this year in coverage, although susceptible to the big play. that might have dictated our scheme (very few blitzes). most of our DB's are back next year (Culberson will be a loss), which is good. Bua and Weaver were solid, and will be missed. lots of RSFr and So's playing big minutes -> they should be better.

we lose 2 solid OL (Bertero and Sulka) and i'm not sure who is in the pipeline. recruiting OL at this level is really tough. the good guys get grabbed quickly by the big schools.
  • WBB 7 pm Monday: Aggies (3-0) @ Pacific (2-0)
They don’t seem distracted by that huge Tiger home ‘crowd’. These girls are
really good. Looking forward to a couple of the Saturday doubleheader’s
