All these games interest me except that UNC @ Weber game -- I think Weber is a sleeper to make some more waves, they lost close games @ Lamar Univ. and vs. McNeese State, but destroyed Portland State, blanked Northwestern State (Natchitoches, LA) 39-0 and put up 55 in Missoula for the win. Granted, NW State is terrible, likely dreadfully bad. They've got a lot of weapons and momentum. Wildcat QB Muñoz is having a monster year.

Tough Stuff

Funny tube sock story, I was running a little student competition team (engineering related), and there was a construction performance part to the competition. Our team caught enough blue and gold striped tubers at the games the previous fall, that we could wear them for the construction run we had at our regional competition, looked snazzy as all hell.

Win enough games and get the big win for a playoff spot - ie, no letdowns, so far on track...but the Ags have done this in the past. We've all seen how unconvincing 7 wins is on the West Coast for the playoff committee. Win 8 to make it easier, win 9 to be sure. We all see this team beating Poly and UNC, but with the EWU nemesis on the road, and mind you the Eagles are not a bad football team, they are explosive offensively... and with rough matchups @ Griz in November, the Bobcats who frankly, have dominated UC Davis, including a perfect 3-0 record against Davis...in Davis...and then you're at Sac State. Honestly, if they play like they played in Portland, they're only winning 7 games this year...and grant Poly and UNC credit, because they are going to shoot their shot against us, so there are no gimmies, at all.

Is High School Football still preparing QBs properly for the College game?

Ha, yeah Davis has so much pull in the Big Sky... that we rub elbows with the decision makers in-game and get what we want all the time.

In a day of what seemed like endless upsets across college football, the Aggies survived and got another road win. As fans we have to be thankful the rattlesnake didn't take a chunk out of our ankle, but what the hell was that effort yesterday?

Less of an upset if you ask me but Top 10 teams Tennessee and Missouri both fell on the road yesterday as well. A&M absolutely destroyed Mizzou while Tennessee was stifled by the Razorbacks in a close game.

And....Washington beat #10 Michigan yesterday in Seattle.
