I was walking around campus today during my lunch, saw Hawk at the Coaches Show, and I also saw a lady instructing another lady on how to march...which she was humming cadence, I think we're back on for Montana.

Maier almost made the play, nice little floater ball, the NDSU defensive line was all over the backfield, in his face, and surrounding the general area.

The call was Tehran was beyond the line of scrimmage when he caught the ball (about a half yard). With all the extra linemen upfield (beyond the line of scrimmage) already it isn't a legal screen pass.

In gridiron football, an ineligible receiver downfield, or an ineligible man downfield, is a penalty called against the offensive team when a forward pass is thrown while a player who is ineligible to receive a pass is beyond the line of scrimmage without blocking an opponent at the time of the pass. A player is determined ineligible based on his position at the time of the snap. The rule varies across different leagues. In college football, the NCAA allows ineligible receivers to be a maximum of 3 yards beyond the line of scrimmage before the pass is thrown. The penalty in both the NFL and NCAA is 5 yards. The NCAA allows for an exception on screen plays, where the ineligible player is allowed to cross the line of scrimmage to go out and block when the ball is caught behind the line of scrimmage.

Never underestimate an opponent with a lot to prove. Montana is looking to be BACK. Hauck and Company won't settle for anything less. I think Montana comes in playing fast and inspired. We better be ready to kick it into high gear. Plough and Tuck have hopefully been saving a few things for the Big Sky.

Montana has been pretty impressive so far this year.

Week 2: Montana 61 - North Alabama (1-3) 17
Week 3: Montana 3 - Oregon (3-1) 35
Week 4: Montana 47 - Monmouth (N.J.) (2-2) 27

Montana currently 3-1, riding some decent momentum. Scoring a lot of points, obviously Oregon is a different animal.
