Thought we'd get the Cow Cow, those in the know, KNOW this tradition runs so much deeper. Very nice tribute, and how about Poly? Tragedy is an opportunity to gather strength...they've gathered so much over the decades. Total respect for that program and their graduates.

Feels like this season is red hot. Maier to Doss for ONE more year, and it's now the second year under Hawk. Tough road ahead with this schedule, O going to ball, but the D? Stakes couldn't be any higher. Can we be Perfect?

I remember road trips where I'd talk to Fred and his wife. He was always a very straightforward, no-nonsense kind of person and I was happy to spend that time talking with him.

Hawk did the same year 1 I believe, certainly felt like more than usual

All of this is worthwhile if we're getting turnovers. We are a high scoring, offensive minded team. Get more possessions then pin ears back with the lead or in a shootout. Rushing defense is always at a premium however
