I think the university could have handled a lot of the equestrian stuff better but cutting spots is always a messy situation. I think waiting until the current recruiting class graduated would have been ideal. I appreciate the parents supporting there kids and stuff but going to the UC regents meetings with photos of rockos daughter saying he’s adding stunt because he’s been “grooming his daughter to be an Aggie cheerleader since she was a kid” is a bit ridiculous (as well as showing up to his house with a box truck) at 8 a.m on Valentine’s Day). Again, I liked equestrian team and sucks it was cut, love the enthusiasm from the families and hope appropriate action and transparency about the finances, decision making, etc is done, but I think rockos tenure as AD has been incredibly successful over all.

The move to the MW, the huge facility plan, graduation rates (a stat that is literally the most important) and almost every team on an upwards trajectory recruiting and results wise is impressive. Glad we got an extension going.
