Jones is the real deal but for crying out loud don’t commit penalties with a guy with this potential.

cleeland seems too amped up (overthrows) and has to be a bit nervous. First game with only a couple previous snaps has just all added up to a poor start. There were a couple of times when he could have pulled it down and ran.

this is where a Pinnick-like dual threat ability is missed. But it’s more than that. Got to give credit to PSU. They came ready to play.

if they “burned the ships” it’s looking like they all will be staying in Portland for a while.
