A lot of game left. I expect the Ags to come out stronger in the second half.

To my eye, it looks like the Aggie defense is having a hard time identifying the ball carrier.

That has to be a writer that knows nothing about the BSC (or EWU at least).
  • Looking forward to 2025
Generally, the FBS games have organized events

In the past, we've just bought GA and found all the Aggies (usually parents/family/friends are easy to find).

Never knew about this. What could have been........

    "Lair of the Mare."72Aggie
    lol

I went to Lair as a kid. Great times. Blue and Gold were there when I was a kid, Oski was added around 2000.

I really wish Davis had a place like this. The Lair is one of the coolest things about being a Berkeley Alum (according to my old man. I agree).

I feel things like Lair of the Bear and whatever Stanford has (at Tahoe Fallen Leaf Lake) set their alumni experience far apart from ours. There is more family engagement through the years.

Saturday can't come fast enough. Need to flush out last weekend's BS with a blowout win...have some fun.

    87-93 degrees @ 8pm (mountain) kickoff. Humidity about 5-17%
About the same heat as Montgomery....far less humid.

Its going to be hard not to keep one eye on the South Dakota State game to see what their opponent looks like.

If Northern Colorado doesn't beat D2 Chadron State on Saturday, it might be the end of the program- there will be people calling for it at least.....
Last winning season 2016. 14-64 record since.

    1-22 the past 2 seasons.

According to Google Ai results .....since moving to D1 in 2006, UNC has gone 35-138.

"I felt like clearly we were the better team in the game." This is a good thing to hear as a fan that got nervous there in the 4th. His comments really point to the Ags really getting gassed late- not a talent issue.

    8pm Mountain, 7pm Pacific kick.

I was pleasantly surprised by Vargas. We haven't seen him in any real capacity until Saturday.
I was joking with AggieFinn during the game about how he looks like "Lan Larison: 1.7" (not 2.0, of course... )

After a few days, I feel like we would have won that game in 2024 Southern Utah fashion - doing enough to hang in on the road.

Mercer is a good opponent. A future home-and-home should be scheduled- need to settle this!

I'd say its pretty easy to rattle a first year QB with pressure. If he can get comfortable enough to stay in the pocket he's going to be even more dangerous.

We have 10 FCS games left and going 7-3 in those games seems to be the minimum to make the playoffs. That was all I was saying.
7-4 total record seems to be the entry point, as we were a playoff team last year. I agree with you 6-5 isn't gonna cut it.

The last 4 games on the schedule are looking pretty tough.
This season is going to be a test for sure.

7 wins for playoff eligibility was my point. Will it take 8? Maybe, but this game will be taken into account by the committee for sure.
  • Mercer - In-Game Play-By-Play Thread
10 FCS games remaining to win 7.
  • Mercer - In-Game Play-By-Play Thread
it very well could have been a 1 pt. Mercer win if the delay happened 2-5 mins later.

Dissapointing outcome all around. Both teams thought they were going to win.

That Mercer AD isn’t agreeing to sh*t.
Those guys think they were going in to take the lead with like 6-7 mins left.
