lets not forget the Westlane Drive-in!
  • UC Davis will play Washington in 2025
6 seasons in a lifetime in college football these days!
  • UC Davis will play Washington in 2025
be great if both were still coaching in that game in 6 seasons!
  • 2019-20 MBB
just have to be back for the Dec 7 home football playoff game!
  • Aggies vs Bears
I think the Stanford tailgate last year was a similar price but since game tickets were part of season tickets you didn’t notice it. You can buy tickets direct from cal. We might do that. Lunch at the facility club then wander over to tailgate to hobnob
  • Aggies vs Bears
$45 for the tailgate (discount rate!) is a bit high. I know CAAA has a pay to get a spot on campus, but.....
  • Athletics and Football Budget
Students at Davis are still free. They got in free to the playoff game last season due to a donation from ICA ( if memory serves); else NCAA rules prohibit freebies for ‘their’ games
  • UC Davis to play USC 2021
I think people forget we’ve played Stanford and Oregon, both who have had as much or more success than USC in recent years.
  • UC Davis to play USC 2021
    CBS broadcast said Coliseum
  • UC Davis to play USC 2021
we play the Spartans in 2020, along with Reno. I thought we had another FBS in 2021 but maybe not. Future schedules website shows Dixie State that year

  • Tailgate/season pass renewal
i wonder where they will locate Brewfest, since that's been over at LaRue the past couple of years. one of the first years, it was located in the back of lot 56 in the eastern edge of the lot. i'm not sure there will be available space there this year, unless they held back some of the parking spaces for this purpose.
  • Scouting the Cal Bears
i was talking to a coach last spring who was breaking down Cal defensive tape. He was VERY impressed with their talent AND coaching. they hide their schemes well, and don't tip off what they are doing with personnel changes. big challange
  • Tailgate/season pass renewal
It would be nice to have a food/beer truck area with music; maybe that will be part of the corridor. Lot 53 could be a good tailgate area; nice and shady over there and short walk to the stadium
  • Tailgate/season pass renewal
Here’s the link to the announcement. Pretty much as expected, except location of hospitality. I thought it would be at far end of lot 56. Should work out

  • Keelan Doss: Raider Watch
It’s not just us. Since 2010, 22 Big Sky players have been drafted. I think it was only one this year (Idaho LB who was originally FBS recruit). I think FBS recruiting is so thorough and sophisticated these days, that not many pro level kids slip through the cracks.
  • C.J. Spenser Grad School
Well, Biochemistry is big business these days. Might be a pathway to a very lucrative career!
  • The Fate of the Grad
I thought i heard that Sudwerk's is bringing back the restuarant. I like Burgers and Brew (its helps me remember what i had for lunch if anyone asks me), and the University of Beer is good (you can get Thai food delivered there). I'll miss the Grad. Stopped there prior to basketball games, and most times i was up in Davis for something other than a football game.
  • Looking Forward to 2019
Anyone heard about Cal tickets? Buy through our ticket office or down there? We’re gong to San Diego also. Great City. Terrible place to play football. That game always scares me. Start the season at Cal, then go to that little stadium on the hill. Their QB graduated as did several weapons, so they might be a little down
  • Tailgate/season pass renewal
I’m assuming the Team Aggie tent is moving over to Lot 56. It won’t be consolidated as before, but it will work
  • I guess I'm not really done. Sorry for the rant.
Not to knock their success too much, but being in the WAC for baseball helps their record quite a bit. Looking at their schedule, I’d have to think we’d fare similarly, but they have beaten us head to head pretty regularly

Their roster is interesting. Lots of NorCal kids. 6 from Canada. One from Dubai.
