It's a good thing this is a defensive football game OH WAIT South Dakota is on pace to score 42 points today.

No offense, but you're just wrong. NFL teams go for it there and I'm pretty sure they know more about football than you and I do. This isn't a 2010 SEC game or some bad weather game like Rams-Niners on Thursday where it's going to end up 13-10 and points are at a premium. We need touchdowns today.

Again, FG's aren't winning this game. And you have to play to your strengths. We've got one of the best offenses in the FCS and it's four yards. Kicking a FG there says "I'm trying to keep the game close" rather than "I want to win the game".

Because FGs aren't going to win this game, it's only 4 yards and we've got a good offense. Going for the TD was the right call there.

And that ball either got tipped or his arm was hit so I can't totally blame him for that one.

Larison got his ankle rolled up on. That's really bad.

I'd love to know how often Larison hands it off. Seems like he just keeps it every time.

Not watching but based on how the scoring has gone it reminds me of our game last week. 1st quarter was close but once the better team got rolling, it was a wrap.

That got out of hand quickly. Last I saw it was 10-10.

There's not a chance in hell USC and UCLA are leaving the Big 10 unless whatever conference they move to offers a similar amount of TV money, which an all California conference wouldn't come anywhere close to doing.

Cal and Stanford might be different since it seems like their move was more out of necessity and they're not getting anywhere near the TV money that UCLA and USC are. But even then, I doubt and all-California conference would match what they get in the ACC.

I'm guessing it comes down to money. I might be wrong but I'm sure they were looking at cutting costs somehow and decided that giving away shirts, beanies, sweatshirts, etc. wasn't cost effective. Nevermind that you build a fanbase by getting them to go to games and sometimes the way to get them to go to games is to give them free stuff (like someone else said). You sacrifice some money short term to build the fan base long term where the hope would be they continue to go to games after they graduate and eventually, bring their spouse and kids.
