In Moscow but not at the dome yet. Weather is about 40 with a light wind and sunny. Probably good it is indoors as it actually feels warmer than it has the last 4-5 days so advantage to the home team if played outside.
Moscow downtown looks just like Davis particularly kind of by G St. do you'd like heei.

pretty weak slate other than the Idaho game. Should we be concerned that Sac State has an extra day of practice and rest?
  • Tough Hawkins Critique
I can't explain it but I really like Hawkins. Maybe because he's a solid coach and a grad of the school. He's also older so I don't see him leaving at this point. The stability is a good thing. We all knew the schedule would be front loaded and just getting to where they are now is solid coaching.

Chris Carter made the catch....end of story. That loss really made 2010's stormy comeback more special. Yet 2009 seems to be remembered more.

If you ever go to Martin Stadium, feel free to ask me questions. I've been to three games within the last year and have a high familarity with that stadium as my young son likes the Cougs. The Vandals and Cougs played a bunch of doubleheaders this year which was odd.

Where can I find info on the fun bus? When does it start running and when does it end? That is really nice to know because I saw something about the regular buses ending service at 4pm? Idaho Aggie mentioned that sometimes they park in lot 15....can you pay cash for those lots day of game or only the lower law lot? How early do I need to arrive to get a space?
If I can't make it up in time for the lower law lot it is really nice to know I'd have options.
I know WSU has the church where everyone parks and takes the bus to the game as a similar example for Pullman.

I love Moscow. It reminds me of Davis except with snow. I'm rooting for the Ags of course, but if they lose I'll feel better knowing it would probably get you into the playoffs. You all deserve it! I'm also a Cal fan so I'm 0-1 in attending games on the Palouse this season (I did see WSU vs CSU but that was just for fun). I'd like to see a win. How do Idaho fans feel about the Cougars? Do you hate them like Montana or Boise? Or is EWU your main rival?

@Idaho Aggie is the one to ask. He is local and has already answered a ton of questions about gameday experience in PMs. I am also not too far to Moscow (about an hr and 15 mins or so) but am not familiar with the gameday experience compared to games in Pullman for WSU.

If you are considering staying overnight, I highly recomend the Best Western Plus across the street from UI. The indoor pool is always quite warm and the breakfast is excellent. They also have a shuttle to PUW airport. We stay there overnight every 4th of July, but we're also close enough that during Farmers Market season, we come up just for the day. They may be sold out since both UI and WSU are home, but they might have something available.

Breakfast Club is a great breakfast place. I also love Moscow Bagel both of which are downtown. There's a big sports bar too but I've never been in. There's a lovely ice cream shop called Panhandle Cone and Coffee with freshly made waffle cones. Moscow has several Asian fusion options too. Red Bento has decent sushi but nothing like the west side of WA. (Idaho Aggie I'm really excited for that new place in Lewiston btw). There is also a delicious greek restaurant, Mad Greek which we loved last time we were here. Of course Pullman has it's share of restaurants too, 10 mins away but I'm not as familiar with the restaurants there. Pullman is hosting a Cougars game at 12:30pm and the nice thing is that except right by the stadium the city does not shut down in game day gridlock. So if you're driving on the hwy it might be a little busy but the traffic flow is pretty good I'd say. I have had no issues driving there within an hour of game time.
We love Moscow and hope to buy a second property there some day since we're always going up there.
  • Week 11: UC Davis (5-4) @ Idaho (6-3)
As a semi-local on the WA side, I'm happy to see Idaho doing well. Obviously I'll be rooting for the Ags, but if they lose it probably means Idaho is going to the playoffs. I love Moscow and try to go once a month. Go Ags, but I do like the Vandals too (my six year old son is all Cougars though).
  • Week 11: UC Davis (5-4) @ Idaho (6-3)
I am going to the game on Saturday. If anyone has been to a Vandals game before, I am wondering if I park at the mall, will I get towed? I have been to a few Cougars games but no Vandals except for a WBB game last year when parking was free.
  • Week 9: Cal Poly (1-6) @ UC Davis (3-4) Battle for the Golden Horseshoe
What is the current policy for Covid-19 for football? I remember seeing something for Mens BB but what about for this year?
  • Week 8: Big Sky Schedule and Scores
l don't see Idaho beating Sac State(really only Weber might have a chance). If Idaho beats Sac I think they will make the playoffs.
  • Week 8: Big Sky Schedule and Scores
Do you see anyone in FCS beating them?
  • Week 8: Big Sky Schedule and Scores
    Idaho is looking pretty good.
  • Week 8: Big Sky Schedule and Scores
    I'm rooting for Montana!
  • Week 8: Big Sky Schedule and Scores
Game in the ESPN2 late slot maybe people see it and TT gets more FBS noise.
  • Week 8: Aggies (2-4) at Northern Colorado (2-5)
They are playing about as well as Cal did in Boulder last week. Brutal.
  • Week 7 Big Sky Schedule and Scores
I still don't think CU's WR caught it in bounds but then again Cal had a lot of chances to win but failed so they deserved the L unfortunately.

Idaho is looking really good. I'm happy for them since they have had several down years but I'm hoping I see a win in person next month.
  • Week 6: Big Sky Schedule and Scores
Idaho also has a bye....I am expecting a loss at the Kibbie Dome. Another Palouse let down in person for my teams (I was at the Cal-WSU game).
But hoping some of our NW aggies go to that game. Hoping Idaho Aggie makes an appearance.
  • Week 6: Big Sky Schedule and Scores
I honestly can only see Sac State losing to Weber and maybe NDSU/SDSU in the championship game. Sac's schedule isn't as easy as last year's cakewalk but they are better than last year's team too.
