Yeah. It looks like a better than expected media deal. I also like that the legacy members don't see a drop-off in payout.

Unfortunately, it looks like extra subscription fees.

I occasionally wonder if non-football schools, like UCSD, UCI, and UCSB, have an advantage in raising funds over UCD since these schools can focus on raising money for their basketball program. In our case, the funds get diluted to football and basketball programs.

I do recall USC scheduling a game with us. (Or was it UCLA?) The alums got pissed, so USC changed their minds and removed us from the schedule. We still kept the money though.

I was trying to watch this game last night, but it's apparently not available on espn+. I guess that's good since I probably would have turned off the game in the first quarter just like the 49ers game.
