I believe Wally's getting the full highlight/game here this afternoon - when it's time it'll get posted here to cap off a week of mixed emotions for the Aggie Football Program.

Southern Utah gave Tarleton State a massive test yesterday...going toe-to-toe most of the game;...in Texas.

Sounds like it was a tightly contested game - some home cookin' missed calls - but SUU continues to have issues defensively giving up 50+:

I'm not going to go and blame the coaching staff for what has happened to Rex. The only thing I will say is that when you've played nothing but defense and maybe some special teams for the past 4-5 years, then you suddenly are asked to run the ball, it can be a different mind set with different factors entering the fold that you just aren't prepared for...like running into the line and guys falling around your knees and ankles. It's beyond unfortunate for Rex, and terrible for the team and the Conference.

What is Porter's status? A fractured bone in his foot?

I just watched the tape of NAU and Montana State. NAU looks beatable - they can get dangerous when their offense plays in rhythm. I think we match up well, but it's a pretty even fight, thankfully at home. Everybody needs to play well for the Aggies to win next Saturday...and we're fighting without all the bullets in the gun right now, so every shot counts.

How many bodies do we have left?

Good trend for sure - I think with the announcement to jump to the Mountain West in the coming years, attendance has to be a prime focus (why was it never before) -- not just talking about it, but actually doing something to see it through and get a better result. Like SochorField says though, not just In September for every home game that we don't play Sac - need to be bumpin' UCDHS with the home crowd!

Poly's travel has been f****** brutal - now their home fans get a proper FCS game to watch, and it's an in-state rival, so expecting a pretty nutso crowd.

Look, I know it was an old Toomey tradition to run games deep into the night at 7 pm because of the September/October heat (dare I say, the student of the day were allowed to get pretty hammered before heading into the stadium) -- but do night games hurt student attendance? Or is the lack of sustained student turnout a prevailing issue due to the gentle decline in younger generations not having major sports as part of their daily lives?

As a now middle aged dude who has to drive back to the Bay Area after games - I'd rather drive back at 7 pm than 10:00 pm.

Man, it's not even close how much Rex does on DEFENSE --- MRI results should be back by tomorrow if it was taken Saturday night / Sunday morning.

A whopping 8, and yes, it was quite memorable -- Psyk and Sam could both get into double digits this season, looking forward to the chase!
