We’ve recently added beach volleyball and equestrian to the women’s side for Title IX. What could we add to match the extra 20 FBS scholarships?

We went 6-2 in BWC without Chima last season with basically the same players ( Michael O was a bigger loss than I first thought), so this group was shown they can win

I thought they put up those bleachers for the ‘canadian’ football team they had (gold miners?). They were there in the early 90’s!

The Big West is adding Bakersfield and UC-San Diego to scheduleing in 2020, CSB as a full member, UCSD as a full member in 2024. that brings the conference up to 11. That's a pretty large number without anyone else.

Seems like we didn’t get a decent shot in the last 8 minutes, and they got hot from the arc. The ball movement was good in the first half and agsinst their zone, but disappeared at the end. Really need a healthy John to stretch the defense. Gonzalez had a few nice threes, but a few that had no chance.

Hope we can regroup for conference play and find a way to end in the top half

It was his first start ever, not just as an Ag. He was a backup in high school to a guy who went on to Tennessee. That’s a big test!

10-0 run for LMU. Offense really struggling

The large number of teams means you can’t play every one in football ( co-champs), and odd numbers keep you from making two divisions. Odd number is a bigger problem in basketball because it creates a bye every night. Getting rid of the football only schools helps a little with the numbers, not at all with the oddness.

Thank goodness they allowed us as football-only back in 2010, else no telling where our football program would be. Might not exist.
