"I was full-on fired up to go down with Butch Davis, and go to south Florida (at FIU) and learn from Butch, and get back in it, and I was very excited about that opportunity. This thing came up at Davis, obviously I'm very close to the Davis program, and you know that whole family and when things went down, you know unfortunately for Ron Gould you know you kind of thought well, they might call me and sure enough they did, now the amazing thing was how fast Kevin Blue our AD was able to put it together because he got it done in about a week, because I said I'm going to Miami, I got a plane ticket I'm going. My bags are packed, I'm outta here. Unless you can make this thing happen..."
