Perez had a couple of good runs, but it looked like the right side was wide open on one for a big gain or even paydirt.

Villanova will drop out of the top 5 but I don’t think SDSU will. On Monday, NDSU will be #1, SDSU and MSU will be #2 and #3 (probably in that order since SDSU barely lost), USD will be #4, and UCD will be #5 (!).

Next weekend, MSU and UCD have byes, NDSU gets 1-6 Murray State, and SDSU plays USD. Unless the SDSU/USD score is very lopsided I don’t see how we would jump either team to get into the top 4. USD losing a close game to SDSU probably won’t cause voters to rank UCD higher and SDSU losing a close game to USD probably means they just switch places.

In a dream last night we beat Northern Colorado 52-49. I think that would count a let down game but at the same time, it's a win.

I think what got Best’s panties in a bunch was the fact that the Aggies shut down the Eagles running game (2.4 yards per rush) especially after getting 286 yards (5.3 yards per rush) against Sac in their win. That amplified by the fact Best was an offensive linemen and prides himself on O-line play.

Oh man I wish I'd gone to the game. I have Vandal season tickets, and that game was at 1 pm. I almost always go to Cheney when the Ags visit, but several friends had events that evening, so I decided to skip this game. Besides, we always lose...I didn't finish the replay until earlier today. It would have been so much fun to be there.

On the plus side, we are meeting an old Aggie Rugby teammate and his wife in Missoula next month for the game. Never gone to a game there, so I'm looking forward to it even if it's going to be cold. Need to get my snow tires on, and the winter gear in the car.

We'll have to meet up again next year when the Ags come to town.

Great episode as always. Thanks for all that you two and what you've done to make even better what's turning out to be a special season. @Idaho Aggie we have tickets East side section 224 row 11 for the Montana game. Wife and I are flying out to Spokane from Raleigh-Durham. Prepping the cold weather gear and some sort of Aggie-identifying apparel befitting of cold temps.

Have fun! Montana fans are loud and unrelenting during the game, but they are also knowledgeable, and I found them quite hospitable the last time I made the trip to Missoula.
