I remember Volek saying that Sac would soon be the Florida State of the west and they would no longer be playing teams like Davis. Sac has a history of making bold statements about becoming the next great football program in the west and this year was no exception

when we were walking out long after the game (got talking to friends, so we were literally last fans in the building) Rocco was talking to 2 Sac AD folk, explaining where the expansion was going. I congratulated him and said ‘second win over a Pac12 team in our history!’ Sac folk didn’t look amused.

There have been rivalries that have died because teams switched conferences, like Texas-Texas A&M. Though that one renewed last year with Texas moving to the SEC. Kansas-Missouri as well, though they played an out of conference game this year also.

We checked out the merch booth at the game and I wasn't inspired enough to wait in line to buy anything. The bookstore was closed when we walked through campus before the game. Anyone know if there is Davis merch (hoodies, shirts, hats) at the Costco in Woodland? Or should we make a trip to the bookstore? We are driving from Livermore to Redding tomorrow and aren't in Nor Cal very often these days.

I've never seen any at Costco, but we usually don't look that carefully at the clothing area. I'd call the store.

There's also a UCD shop next to the Varsity Theatre in downtown.
