UCD returns to Hamilton Court to face D2 Chico State, who the Aggies should not underestimate. The only common opponent, Jessup University, lost to the Wildcats by 19, while Davis defeated Jessup by 37. The Ags have a distinct height advantage, as Chico only list one 6 footer on their roster. Despite that, the ‘Cats were tied with St. Mary’s at the half, even thought the gaels had even more of a height advantage than do the Aggies.

Chico scores 72 ppg, and allow 64. Leading scorer, Madison Parry, (15.9) does most of her damage inside the arc, as does Meadow Aragon (14.6) ppg. Kaylie Edge and Kamil Reid provide support from long range at 10.6 and 9.0 ppg, respectively. Aragon is the leading rebounder (11.0 rpg), followed by Parry at 7.1 rpg. Both hit the offensive glass hard.

The Aggies continue to have a balanced attack with 4 players averaging double digits: Ryann Bennett at 18.2 ppg, Nya Epps 12.9, Megan Norris at 12.4, and Avery Sussex with 11.5. Norris pulls down 10.1 rebounds a game, with solid support rotating among several different teammates in each contest. Davis averages 72 ppg, and holds opponents to 67.

16-18 Chico after 1Q. Davis defence feeling a little passive.

More aggressive D and an 11-0 run have the Aggies up 10 with a few minutes left in the second.
