That's a big deal for Sac. They'll get a lot of exposure and publicity by televising all their football games on a local tv channel. Haha I'm not sure Calaveras is considered "state of Jefferson." I think that is much further north.

The agreement Sac State has with Channel 31 likely will only cover football games. It will be a problem televising basketball games in a 1,000-seat gym, so the Hornets will only have the football games on local TV. I think it's too late for UC Davis to come up with their own local TV arrangement this season, but I'm sure Kevin Blue will monitor what's happening in Sacramento and see if a TV agreement for Aggies football games can be worked out at some point.
