I don't get what's going on with this passing game.

When there has been shaky qb play in the past it has been years where there were major deficiencies in other areas. These last two years the team has been solid and the qb has let them down. Commerce is playing straight man right now and he’s struggling with high school reads.

This red zone offense is astoundingly bad

Terrible red zone offense.

As predictable as Hawkins’ wildcat red zone package was, it also was mildly successful against FCS defenses.

I feel like just having ten guys block for Lan or TT can’t be less one dimensional than this

I'll cut Marsh some slack. He's not wrong. He could easily say that during the game and I'd agree with him. No apologies necessary.

There's one clear reason why the passing game is so bad: Hastings.

Red zone offense was at times a problem last year too. I think the abandonment of the wildcat and jet sweep action/motion makes the red zone offense very 1 dimensional. And so far this year, little push from the o-line. When LAN struggles for a yard, you know there is absolutely no where to go.

Speckman was here for 3, 4 years, and we now bury the Jet sweep. It's one way to keep the defense honest and thinking. Their QB seems to have a better arm.

No trick plays. Give RB Fisher some carries.

It's general admission seating. Sometimes I would sit on the grass even if I bought actual seats.

I was one of the few students back then who wanted Oct and Nov games to be afternoon contests.

100% The wildcat was instituted 12 or so years ago by Biggs just to get more short yardage blocking.
