I’m not quite sure how the Australian leagues work. Eli had a solid first year with the Perth Wildcats on the NBL; now he’s averaging nearly 50 (yes, 50) with a team out of Warwick in the NBL1 which sounds like a semi-pro league- maybe similar to the NBA summer league? His minutes and numbers dropped quite a bit the last few games of the Perth season with minutes going from the 20s down to below 10.

    Wow...49.7 ppg...that's astonishing!

    1. Elijah Pepper (Warwick Senators)‍

Pepper stands out not just as the league’s top scorer with an astronomical 49.75 points per game, but also as the most complete offensive threat. He shoots 54% from the field, makes nearly 9 threes per game, and gets to the line frequently — converting at an 89% clip. Beyond scoring, Pepper contributes across the board with 6.5 assists and 6.25 rebounds per game while keeping turnovers and fouls relatively low. His exceptional blend of volume, efficiency, and playmaking gives him the highest Impact Score by a significant margin.

I didn't see TY suited up tonight. Is he expected to play in tomorrow's game?

Well, if he plays today, we could potentially see two Aggies playing in post-college games with Max Arfsten playing for the USMNT against Mexico today.

No minutes again last night. Looks like they have a 16-man roster, and about 5-6 don't get off the bench. I was watching here and there last night while killing time while my wife was playing slots - the play was, to be charitable, very ragged. Lots of one-on-one action. Hopefully, they practice a bit between this tournament and the next -> get TY some exposure to higher level play.

We watched the entire game out here in CO (couldn't get the Earthquakes or Giants games, both of which ended up being great games...) It was really odd with nobody in the stands, and it took us a while to catch that it was closed to the public and only scouts were in the stands.

There were really only 3-4 guys on the court that were playing at a higher level. Knecht, Bazely and Swider on the Lakers and Jones-Garcia for the Spurs. I was surprised at how underwhelming Broni was. Now I'm really curious to see TY get more than a few garbage minutes.
