Unless Pinnick has the game of his life, I don't see Davis hanging with the Bobcats at this time.

For me, it's less about Pinnick and the offense and more about whether or not we can shore up our injury riddled defense and quit making mistakes on special teams.

My theory is that the defense is what it is, and the special teams are what they are - so go all in on the offense outscoring the other team.

Yeah, but their special teams actually played well...and they got 2 picks and a fumble recovery to end the first half...all that and Davis still only lost by 1 point.

Agreed. ISU spread the wideouts this dispersing defense. Sac doesn’t throw the ball like ISU.

True that ISU is much more balanced than Sac but I don’t see Davis’ problem so much as run/pass as playing in space. Sac does a nice job spreading you out and finding the green grass. Sievers has shown some nice flashes but the other two backers can’t shed blocks and 8 has terrible instincts. None of the three are real athletic. I don’t see the next few weeks going well. Hope I’m wrong.

I've been following Aggie football since the early 70's and I don't think I've ever seen a year so decimated with injuries. We've been hanging in there but, I agree, we could be in for a rough stretch. Hope I'm wrong as well...
