Montana Offense
- The Griz come into this game averaging 31.25 points per game and 406.5 yards of offense per game. They are currently split towards favoring the pass, but are effective in both the pass and run game. They average 258.75 passing yards per game and 147.8 rushing yards per game.
- Senior QB Keali'i Ah Yat returns as the man leading the Griz offense. So far this season he has completed 65.73% of his passes for 1008 yards with 7 passing TDs to only 1 interception. There is currently a thread over on egriz on if they should switch QBs so I guess we're not the only fanbase with folks who believe better options are on the bench.
- Ah Yat's main target in the passing game has been Junior WR Brooks Davis who has 35 receptions for 446 yards and 2 TDs. There is a sharp drop off in production after Davis, but their next leading receiver in Junior WR Lekeldrick Bridges with 14 receptions for 156 yards and 2 TDs.
- One cannot talk about the Griz offense without talking about 5th year RB Eli Gillman. Gillman has been a mainstay on the Griz offense and is one of the best RBs at the FCS level. So far this season Gillman has gained 414 yards on 67 carries with 7 rushing TDs. He has also added 120 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs as well.

Montana Defense
- The Griz on defense are allowing 24.25 points per game and on average are giving up 430.5 yards of offense per game. On average they are allowing 138 rushing yards per game and 292.5 passing yards per game.
- Their current top tackler is Senior S Braeden Orlandi who has 25 total tackles on the season. They are also getting significant tackle contribution from GS S Tanner Huff who has 22 total tackles on the season.
- Senior DL Tyler King leads the Griz in terms of sacks with 2 on the season.
- They have only forced 1 interception on the season so far and that's from Sophomore S Brock Beaner. They have, however, forced 5 and recovered 4 fumbles on the season so ball security will be important.

Montana Special Teams
- Again, we're not the only team with some questionable kicking! The Griz FG kicker is 5th year K Jo Silver who is 2/5 on the season with a long of 50 yards. To give Silver some credit, 2 of his misses are on 50+ yard attempts.
- Junior K Ryder Barinowski is handling kickoffs for the Griz. 18 of his 23 kicks have gone for touchbacks.
- Junior P Everett O'Donnell is averaging 42.58 yards per punt with a long of 68.
- Aforementioned Brooks Davis is their punt return man. He's returned 6 punts so far this season with a long return of 31 yards. Junior WR Monte Gillman has handled most of the Griz's kick off returns with a long return of 19 yards.

I think this game will come down to how well the Aggies can contain Brooks Davis and Eli Gillman. Both of those guys are studs and if we let them get into rhythm it could be a long day for our defense. We all know the debate in terms of our offense. To the dismay of several on this forum, it's going to be Cleeland starting. If he can avoid the slow starts that we've seen against FCS competition then we are at least going to have a chance against the Griz. If we are missing open opportunities then we will lose, simple as that. I would expect a large visitors crowd. Hopefully the students and alumni show up.
