I, for one, think Sac is really going to be strong this season. See a lot of talent being integrated quickly, and with the GoGo hitting the field in Year 1 for the Big Sky -- like Plough did in Year 1 -- I think it'll be very creative and tough to stop early and often. Whatever league Sac is in in 2026, I think it'll be tougher for the Hornets, because it'll be a higher echelon of talent to compete against and there will be a full year of tape for teams to analyze...but this season, 2025, I see Sac as being a team to far exceed expectations even with all the new personnel.

I imagine Coombs has been dissecting UNLV tape quite a bit since the announcement of Coach Marion coming to Sac.

1. What's it take to get students in the stands these days?
2. Do you see a bump in attendance should the Aggies take on stadium renovations and increase capactiy to say 20,000+ - along with a Mountain West home game schedule? This would take at a minimum 3 to 4 times the student involvement in my opinion to get the stadium marginally full for a game against say Air Force, Wyoming, Hawai'i, Northern Illinois, San Jose State, UNLV, UTEP...New Mexico.

Gould era was painful - though it did have its moments. Never saw the run game more punishing than under Gould...just seemed to lack a complete, cohesive game plan week-to-week. If we didn't run for 250, we'd lose - that's how I saw the Gould era.
