So many tipped passes...does Pinnick have low release?

I don't think Plough is a fan of making QB changes during a game. I wouldn't mind giving Harper a look...

SDSU is very good. Sac's offense was a mess but the defense was tough in the second half. They also had a bunch of penalties and the players often seemed confused especially on offense. They even had to call a timeout because the coaches weren't on the same page about sending in the FG team. I expect that they will get much better as the season progresses.

It looked like LB Jackson Sievers was hurt.

Like agalum said, the "GO-GO offense was a NO-GO offense" today and the JV team beat the Varsity.

I'm feeling the same way. I hope we really fire on all cylinders tonight.

Their new format made me sign into my account yesterday and the ESPN home page looks different. It took me a couple of minutes to find the game I was looking for but it's all there.

Sac and SDSU are tied at 3 at the end of the first quarter. The Jackrabbits have been dominating but have shot themselves in the foot with 2 lost fumbles.

    SDSU 130 yards Sac 3
SDSU 10 first downs Sac 0
One sideline warning on Sac also.

Dr. Wood is doubling down on how he feels that Sac is a "varsity" football program and everyone else in the FCS is just JV football. I guess we'll see if he has egg on his face tomorrow or not...

  • Sac State's bid for the Pac 12 Thread
We certainly have a storied and proud football history and I'm excited about the growth of the program and the direction we're heading. However, I've always felt that basketball is the sport that we could get the most return for the investment...many fewer scholarships and a much less expensive sport considering equipment, travel and the number of coaches necessary etc etc.

I think we are currently seeing the Athletic Department making a significant push in basketball and gearing up for MWC play in 2026. Hopefully, we can be relatively competitive in the MWC early on against bigger name programs. I think we'll see a dramatic increase in our fan base if that happens.

Exciting times for all Aggie sports currently!
