In Plough's weekly press conference, Plough said Grant Garretson and Sam Gbatu will be back next year. I haven't heard much from Grant this year. Did he get injured?

He was injured in the second or third game. Grant played in so few games this season he can get a medical redshirt.
This is already his third year with the Aggies after two years of JC.

also mentioned Vargas could be back IF we made a run. Wouldn’t seem the case if he was going in the portal.

Vargas would benefit from some film where he doesn’t bounce outside before the play develops so it could be a symbiotic short term reunion.

That's huge that Gbatu is coming back for another season!
