No current or former Aggies were taken in this year's draft, but one of their recruits was.

20th round (596th overall): Elijah McNeal, SS, Dublin High School (Dublin, CA)
The Giants went in their backyard for their final pick, and are hoping that being the hometown team is enough to keep the right-handed hitter from his commitment to UC Davis. He has power up the middle, as he has graded out well for both hitting pop and arm strength
I would guess Elijah will be coming to Davis. Being taken in the very last round as a high schooler doesn't suggest the Giants are terribly optimistic he'll sign. If he does sign it will likely be more than a $150,000 bonus, which is the maximum bonus a player in rounds 11-20 can get without it eating into the yearly signing bonus pool a team can spend on players in rounds 1-10.
The Giants' 2025 signing bonus pool had already been reduced because they lost their 2nd and 4th round picks (and their slot values) for signing shortstop Willy Adames in the off-season (Milwaukee Brewers issued him a one year qualifying offer as an impending free agent + he declined it) Going over the overall draft pool limit by more than 5% can result in penalties, such as being taxed heavily on the overage and losing future picks, depending on the status of the team doing it.
Although there are only 20 rounds, teams can sign as many un-drafted amateur free-agents as they would like, with a $20,000 bonus cap for each signing. The only other real restriction is the total number of minor leaguers a team can have in the U.S. at any one time. This means one or more UCD seniors may still sign a pro contract with an MLB organization.
Or they could sign with an independent league team, as Nick Leehey did this year. According to Baseball-Reference.com, Leehey is hitting a robust .316 with seven homeruns and 24 runs batted in for the Oakland Ballers. In 43 games with the Aggies this year he hit only .290 with 5 homeruns and 27 RBI. Former UCD outfielder Damian Stone is hitting.381 for the Ogden Raptors, according to the same website.
