This is a nice game for us. NDSU is a good mid-major program. They went 27-8 last year and one of their loses was to at Davis 80-68. That was a good win for us early in the season. The big difference in the game was that the Bison shot a miserable 3-27 from beyond the arc compared to us going 8-16. Connor Sevilla had his one of his best games as an Aggie shooting 8 of 20 overall from the field including 6-7 from 3 and 4-4 from the line for 26 points.

If Sevilla can stay healthy this year he could have a great, final season for us but he'll also have to contend with the bigger players in the MW guarding him. He got off to a hot start last season but was slowed down by injuries later in the season and Big West teams started focusing on taking him out of the game and playing him very physical. I imagine that the MW teams may try and defend him like that this season also.

Agree on the demand for posts. Don’t agree on the roster. You win with age and experience. The inbound guys have neither and the international players always struggle on the defensive end with physical play. The inability to bring in anyone that has had success at any level of college basketball is alarming and points to some reputation/culture issues (and a lack of money). I don’t see this group as an upgrade from last year and the comp has gone up a notch.

CBSSN and FS2 are in a lot of households but almost nobody tunes in to those channels. And with how they stack events you usually lose half the game to the truck race or frisbee contest that went long prior to tip. This is a downgrade from ESPN+ in a lot of respects.

I’d be fine with this group + Wilson and cooper. But truly not feeling hopeful with the step up in play.

Gut says we have a mediocre BW roster about to enter MW play.

Are we full now or is there any room for additions?

Feels like there might be room for another, maybe a walk-on. Clearly a lot of unknowns with this group.
