I like your optimism, Brian, and I agree! I'm getting the feeling that this just may be the pivotal year that the Aggies really turn the corner and establish themselves as a high quality program rising quickly to the upper echelon of the FCS.

Ha ha ... I wouldnt call it optimism. That would imply an emotional response, and like Spock, I ain't got no emotional response. Just calling it like I see it. Some great talent there, the energy with recruiting the past few years has been noticeable. I think we all know what a guy like Hawkins can do, and I think it is happening. Felt the same way about Healy and Austin Peay

Well hopefully seeing a couple of seasons of Doss and Maier can entice some of these kids to come be part of a high flying offense. Someone is gonna have to step up big time after this season to fill in for Doss.

Maybe we get Aaron Moore back?

Hey CA Forever, I just wanted to add my thanks to you for doing such a great job with this recruiting thread. The praise that Brian from HERO-SPORTS has given you is well deserved.

I have a small suggestion that might make it easier to search the the recruiting list more easily. I think it would be helpful if you could go back an highlight all the players' names in bold so that they stand out from one another and individual players are easier to find more quickly. Just a suggestion...keep up the good work!

Interesting note... when we got a commitment from Orlando Ornelas he was listed as a WR. His HS got a new coach and it appears he is playing wildcat QB now. Rushed for 176 yards and 2 TDs and added a passing TD in his first game of the season.

Outstanding! According to Rivals Thorpe had offers from Air Force, Army, Holy Cross, Howard, NAU, Oregon State, San Jose State, UCD and UNLV. Lots of offers but he chose the Ags!

A big physical, fast, smart player. These gets are very hard to find, but the Hawk seems to get it done. My favorite play is when he goes down the sideline and repeated hand checks the defender (olden days: “stiff arm”) perfectly legal with open hand. Just a great recruit by the Hawk!
