yes; rarely see combo kickers. Much different kicking motions. I think we often have a separate guy for kickoffs!

Does anyone know whether Whelan kicks soccer style on kickoffs and field goals? I know he practices place kicking and has a lot of distance.

Correct. But has anyone ever done both successfully?

It's not like combining kicking & O line.

I can’t think of any in recent history with larger rosters, both NFL and NCAA. Apparently it happens in the CFL with smaller game day rosters.

OL/kickers? Maybe Lou Groza?
