    @Jdur

    Re-posting general articles from the website is kind of BlueGoldag's thing- he must be asleep at the wheel :smile:

    And here's a slightly different way with a new name to give us your money. Whoever wrote that article writes like me-six paragraphs to say what they could have in 3. These are my people-are they hiring for fluffy nonsense content writers, or is their Grok programmed to do that ?

    Bold and streamlined. Every one of these programs is bold and streamlined, except for the write-ups :grin:

    Yes, I know bluntly stating "We need more money. Give us more money" won't be succesful. They have to lay on the fluff to make it sound better, like people are getting something. What they're really getting is the future chance to pay more for tickets, premium or not.

    Requiring a minimum donation (effectively a surcharge) to premium season tickets is neither bold nor streamlined. Pretty sure other colleges already do this.

    we’ve been paying a Team Aggie fee for tickets for years. The new wrinkle is that it is now per seat instead of a single fee. But, if I understand, the seat fees will be applied to your whole donation (as the current fee is now). I’m not sure how doing it this way will increase folks donations unless it’s just how the money is allocated - I donate an amount that gets me to the level I want minus the ticketing fee. There are several changes to the perks that may get folks to raise their total donation up in a significant manner.

    And nothing against donations they're super important. I just find it annoying how organizations and businesses try to market donating mechanisms as innovative.

    You know what would be smart and streamlined (if this isn't already in the works)-give people very easy ways to donate at the games. When you pay for your ticket or concessions at the game with a card give the option to donate (as a separate charge). It's been awhile since I've seen football, but I haven't seen this at other sports either. Not much different than leaving a tip. They could clean up on small donations people are less reluctant to give. The whole "sign away your life" online methods are a pain and give a lot of opportunity to re-consider.
