I see the team that is more prepared than any other team to go FBS is looking outstanding once again.

Sac wins 49 - 28, Damian Henderson rolling at RB. Nobody else really stands out statistically, thought about six RBs broke off long gains.

Sac put up 525 offensive tsrds, and 142 kickoff return yardage. The Go Go only had 17 passes, and the D recorded 3 sacks.

This is Mercyhursts second year as a full fledged FCS program.

South Dakota appears to be not all that great this year. Or maybe this game was their version of our 2024 game against Portland St. But they lost at Lamar (6-5 in 2023 and 7-5 in 2024) and then needed OT to beat Northern Colorado (1-22 combined the last two years). Of course Northern Colorado only lost by 7 to Colorado St so who knows.
