    Everything's on ESPN+ no prime time for the Big Sky this weekend.

    Anybody thinking of heading out to the UNC @ Sac game?

    For those wondering, Sacred Heart is a private FCS team out in Fairfiled, CT. They play in the Northeast Conference against the likes of Duquesne, Central Connecticut State, Mercyhurst, Stonehill, Robert Morris, Wagner, St. Francis (PA) and the fighting Long Island University Sharks. They're traveling all the way to Missoula to take on Montana in the middle of the season -- tell me they're not getting paid to do this.

    Bears looking good on the ground. Sac lots of sloppy play on offense.

    Sounds like constant pumped in crowd noise on the broadcast. Annoying dull murmur sounds very fake drowning out the announcers.

    Dr wood. “The cal expo is needed for space. As you can see we are packed out. “ while talking in front of the visitor side that is half covered in tarps and the portion not covered is half empty. The home side of the stadium does have a decent turnout today.
    He also now changed this wording to “being FBS next year”to “playing a FBS schedule next year”.
    Dr. Wood just rubs me the wrong way. He does not act professionally which a school president/chancellor should and he does not represent the school well.

    I still don't get the logic of an expensive, temporary, not-on-campus stadium. Sounds like he had no fallback Option B.

    yeah i was literally gonna comment like 30 minutes ago about how impressed I was for the home side but the visitor side is a ghost town. not even a knock against sac but he just says things that make you scratch your head. seems like a nice dude but talks wayyyyy too much without backing anything up.

    I listened to him when he went on the griz fan podcast (the montana fan podcast) like a week or 2 ago and he said the same thing. He also slipped in that he was "very confident" that they will be in a new fbs conference (which also seems like it could mean a few things). He keeps saying fbs schedule but already has 2 fcs games listed...

    That’s wild…..
    Doesn’t that place seat 22,000? Looks like 15k? And a TON of work to get that many (concerts after the game)….
    *edit* it looked like 13-15k in the 1st half. It has filled in over the second half and into the 4th.

    Announcers just said 20,000 attendance. How is that possible when there are like 100 people on the visitor side? *edit* to be fair, first half observation

    yeah I think a large amount of people are going for the concert that is included after the game (from sac state reddit and twitter). I seriously dont get why you dont just redo the current spot. Building a 40k seat stadium is just a waste of resources at this point. Even if Davis moves to the FBS expanding our stadium beyond something like 25k would be something I would never think of.
