I'm surprised they have any cellular infrastructure in the stadium at all given when it was built. Hard to justify expense for a few crowds a year.

yeah I doubt they were planning for anything like that back then and it’s a non-sexy investment now because you can’t see it. But there’s also the matter of being a responsible property owner. Even if you don’t care about streaming, calls and texts still need to go through, even for 6 days a year. Bad situations in a crowd get worse real fast if emergency calls and texts don’t go through.

Plough in his weekly press inference is most excited about the o line recruits and the out of state d linemen. Says the o-line recruits are the best ever.

It's also great to hear that some players have already indicated they are coming back for next year regardless of NIL offers they have or may receive to transfer elsewhere.

That sounded great, they know we have something special going, and the coaches can now fill any gaps.

Find Joy. Tim Plough is genuinely building something awesome here and it's always impressed me.

That's a big one! He's the best of the group, and Simpson has been very impressive at times. Love the edge that Williams plays with, brings a little nasty to the TE position. Good group of young TEs coming up, will be interesting to see who emerges. May also be a Portal position to address with as much 12 personnel that Plough uses.

What about a Fullback? Any suspects on the roster? I hate seeing us on 3rd down inside the 3 yard line in the Shotgun.

Love Simpson's edge as well.....he's drawn a couple flags for it over the past couple years, but love the heart.

I randomly went back and breezed through some old Causeway games on YouTube.

From the first Big Sky season in 2012 to now, the jump in the athletic ability of Davis players has been astounding. In those years, Davis had a few guys on each side of the ball that could really ball, and things were not very competitive vs. BSC opponents. Starting in 2017 things started to take off. Now Plough is on fire. FCS top-10 talent all over the field.

Even as frustrated as folks get with the limitations the program faces, its great to see the exponential improvement. Things have come a long way.

We can live with those flags in the right situations. He and Dixon are running mates. Both high energy guys that bring the juice in all that they do. The loss of Dixon as a spiritual leader will be mitigated by the return of Williams.

Plough referred to Dixon as one of the, if not the, best leader the Ags have had since he's been associated with Davis. Also, a really bright kid -> scholar-athlete of the year for the team last year, about to get his MBA. Future is bright for Mitch!

Yes, he seems like a dynamic person. Great to hear he's a scholar on top of the fun loving nature and leadership abilities. Future is definitely bright for that kid!

Don't know his ambitions after football and school - but I could see Dixon as head 'booster' of sorts organizing and talking it up with all the big alums and getting these donations to start rolling in.

I’m curious abbot Ty Richardson. Is he in a one year grad program?
This is only his third year of playing, so he still has eligibility. According to ESPN crew coaches rated him the top corner.
Maybe he should get a PhD here. He could probably crack that out in another semester or two.

Ty is interesting. If he graduated from Tufts in two years and is working on a grad degree already, that is freaking impressive. Perhaps he has one season remaining? If anyone knows or can figure it out, let us know. The top Corner comment is debatable but I am not interested in furthering that conversation. We would all love to see #3 on one side and #11 on the other again in 2026!

He graduated from Tufts in three semesters. Played 2 seasons no redshirt.

Holy crap! That is really impressive, way to go, Ty! That kid probably got bored covering the WRs in the NESCAC, that's bad football. However, you wouldn't want to bump into any of those teams in the Academic Decathlon or Spelling Bee. Glad he got out of there and is on our side! Three semesters?! That's incredible

His brother a wide receiver at USC this year also attended Tufts. Their mom went there.
Menlo School must be pretty good academically .

Probably took some AP classes and summer school before college to knock out his general education.
