    Southern Illinois star QB is out with a knee injury in first half. Second string QB has weak arm and already has tossed 2 interceptions. West Florida up 20-6. Also heard that Ah Yat (Griz) may have a tweaked knee.

    yes, first year. Not a good look for MVFC if SIU loses. But kind of shows how important it is to have a decent backup QB especially as in the case here, your first-stringer runs a lot.

    Pretty good showing for West Florida as a 1st year D1 program. It looks like they recently won a D2 national championship.

    Recruiting in Florida seems seems plentiful.
